Privacy Policy

Our promise

We never sell your personal information. We never share it with insurance agents, marketers, or data brokers. Our business model is simple: you pay a small one-time fee for your report, and that makes you our only customer.

What we collect and store

• Account — your email address, used to send you sign-in links and your reports. We use passwordless magic links, so we never see or store a password.
• Saved profile — the details you enter to generate your comparison: vehicle year/make/model, annual mileage, birth year, marital status, credit tier, driving incidents, years licensed, ZIP/state/city, and your coverage preferences.
• Report results — a snapshot of the inputs you entered and the estimates we generated, so you can revisit your reports.
• Purchase records — the amount you paid and our internal payment reference. Card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.
• Renewal reminders — only if you sign up for Renewal Watch: your renewal date and when to email you about it.

Files you upload are not kept

If you use the Renewal Audit feature, the PDF you upload is read in memory to extract your current coverages for your comparison. We do not keep the file, we do not store the extracted text, and we do not share it with anyone. It exists only for the few seconds it takes to process it, then it is discarded.

How we use it

Your information is used only to operate TrueQuote Auto: creating your account, generating your reports, sending renewal reminders you signed up for, and processing payments. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Third-party services

We use a small number of services to operate the site:

• Cloudflare — website hosting and security
• Neon — database hosting (your account and report data)
• Stripe — payment processing (currently in test mode; no live charges)
• Resend — transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, reminders)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing us via the contact page. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, reports, and reminders.
